Product Safety, Precautions, and General Wellness Disclaimer

This disclaimer applies to Kaelvi products that use heat, vibration, massage, support, inflation, traction, or decompression features. Read the instructions supplied with your specific product before use. If the product instructions conflict with this general page, follow the more cautious requirement and contact us for clarification.

General Wellness Use Only

Kaelvi products are intended for general wellness, comfort, relaxation, and temporary relief of everyday muscle tension. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition and are not a substitute for medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, or emergency care.

Product descriptions, reviews, educational content, and customer-support communications are general information, not medical advice. Individual experiences vary, and no specific result is guaranteed.

Consult a Healthcare Professional Before Use

Ask a licensed healthcare professional whether the product is appropriate for you before use if you are pregnant, recently gave birth, have an existing medical condition, have unexplained or severe pain, are recovering from injury or surgery, take medication affecting circulation or sensation, or are uncertain about any symptom.

Do not use the product unless a qualified healthcare professional has cleared you to do so if you have or may have:

• A pacemaker, defibrillator, implanted pump, or other implanted electronic device;
• Recent neck, back, spinal, vascular, or orthopedic surgery;
• A fracture, spinal instability, severe osteoporosis, severe spinal deformity, or acute disc injury;
• Deep vein thrombosis, embolism, phlebitis, a serious clotting or bleeding disorder, or severe circulatory disease;
• Severe neuropathy, impaired sensation, paralysis, or inability to reliably feel heat, pressure, or pain;
• Active cancer in the intended area of use, unless cleared by the treating physician;
• Epilepsy or another seizure disorder where vibration or stimulation may create risk;
• An acute infection, fever, severe inflammation, or unexplained swelling; or
• Any condition for which heat, vibration, massage, pressure, traction, or decompression has been restricted.

Do Not Use On

• Open wounds, burns, rashes, bruises, infections, inflamed skin, recent incisions, or areas with reduced sensation;
• The eyes, face, front or side of the throat, head, chest, genitals, or directly over major blood vessels;
• A fracture, tumour, surgical implant, or area of acute injury unless a healthcare professional has specifically approved use; or
• Any body area for which the specific product was not designed.

For a neck-support product, position it only as shown in the instructions. Never place pressure on the front or side of the neck and never use the product in a way that affects breathing, swallowing, circulation, or the ability to move away from it.

Safe Use

• Begin at the lowest comfortable setting and increase only if use remains comfortable.
• Use only for the session duration and body position described in the product instructions.
• Remain awake and able to operate or stop the product. Do not use while sleeping.
• Do not use while driving, operating machinery, bathing, or in any situation requiring full attention or quick movement.
• Do not use under heavy bedding, against trapped skin, or in another way that may concentrate heat.
• Do not combine with topical pain creams, menthol, heating ointments, another heating device, or medication that reduces awareness without medical guidance.
• Do not use while impaired by alcohol, sedatives, or another substance that reduces awareness or sensation.
• Stop before standing if you feel light-headed and rise slowly.

Heat Safety

Heat can cause burns, particularly for people with reduced sensation or circulation. Check the skin regularly and discontinue heat immediately if it feels excessive or causes persistent redness, irritation, numbness, or discomfort. Do not use heat on an area that cannot accurately sense temperature.

Vibration, Massage, Traction, and Inflation Safety

These features should feel gentle and comfortable. More intensity is not necessarily more effective. Never force a position, overinflate a product, add external weight, or use a setting that causes pain or restricted movement. Do not apply traction or decompression to an acutely injured, unstable, or recently operated area without professional clearance.

Stop Use Immediately

Stop the session and seek appropriate medical advice if you experience increased or sharp pain, dizziness, faintness, headache, nausea, breathing or swallowing difficulty, weakness, numbness, tingling, radiating pain, vision changes, unusual swelling, skin discoloration, or any new or worsening symptom. Seek emergency care for severe, sudden, or life-threatening symptoms.

Children and Assisted Users

These products are not toys and are not intended for children. Keep products, packaging, cords, and charging components away from children and pets. A person who cannot understand the instructions, operate the controls, reposition independently, or communicate discomfort should not use the product without direct supervision by a responsible adult and any appropriate medical clearance.

Electrical, Battery, and Environmental Safety

• Keep the product, charger, battery, and controls dry and away from baths, sinks, wet surfaces, and flammable materials.
• Use only the charging method, power specifications, and accessories identified in the product instructions.
• Do not use or charge a product with damaged housing, exposed wiring, unusual odour, excessive heat, swelling, leakage, or other signs of damage.
• Do not puncture, crush, burn, disassemble, or modify the product or battery.
• Stop use, disconnect power when safe, and contact us if the product behaves abnormally.

Materials and Cleaning

Do not use the product if you know or suspect that you are allergic or sensitive to one of its materials. Follow the supplied cleaning instructions. Do not immerse electrical components or use harsh solvents unless expressly permitted.

Misuse and Responsibility

Use contrary to instructions, warnings, contraindications, or intended body placement may cause injury and may affect coverage under an optional warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kaelvi is not responsible for harm caused by unauthorized modification, reckless use, or continued use after a warning symptom appears. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
